Grote Bronk Gronsveld 2025

Bronk is an ancient Catholic tradition that takes place in the southern part of Limburg, including the village I come from. Once every four years, the Grote Bronk is celebrated in Gronsveld. This celebration is accompanied by rituals such as the procession, vogelschieten, and a traditional dance (reidansen). These rituals are still very much alive today and fascinate me deeply.
